Welcome to our travel journal.

Joe & I found each other after a life long search for another who would wander also.  We both feel strongly that this is our only go-round.  Nothing before and nothing after SO we are gonna squeeze each drop out of the life given us.  To that end, Joe, me and our faithful companion, Apache, are headed cross-country beginning August 22, 2017.

In June 2017, my husband, Joe, and I bought a 31 foot, 2016 Aspen Trail pull behind trailer. Thanks to American Campers for the superior service and support, you remain on our speed dial.

Have you ever traveled and had a thoroughly wonderful time only to have snippets of it slip from your memory over the years to follow?  This lesson was reinforced to me recently when I ran across a diary I kept during my trip to Ireland in 2009.  I was reminded of so many experiences as I read it again.  So many adventures I had totally forgotten.  The names of pubs, the adorable former nun who ran one of the B&B’s.  My sister acting a fool after imbibing a little too much–hilarious.

We’ve started this blog to document the good, the bad, and the ugly of our journey.   This will not be a blog for the faint of heart.  It will be a real account of all we do, see, and encounter.  I’m not a professional writer; I’m just middle-aged chick documenting the next few months of our lives.  I’ve never blogged before, don’t know the rules; have never really cared for rules anyway.  You will get to know us, our little family, & our story.  It’s not for everyone, but, like Goldilocks, it’s “Just Right” for us.  Some will be embarrassed, others offended, and others delighted.  But if you’re interested, hang on cause here we go!!
