Sioux Falls Baby
We slept til 9a!!!!! Then did some laundry and had breakfast of eggs, tomato basil homemade bread and tomatoes from the Farmer’s Market. Yummmm. Then we headed on the bike to St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Wow. Just Wow. It was beautiful. If you know me at all, you know I’m not really INTO it but I certainly can appreciate beauty. Guess you can spend this kind of money when you pay no taxes. Now kindly stay out of politics. Rant over.

Next was the Pettigrew House and Museum. I loved the ancient Medicine Rock he brought home. The homes nearby were beautiful. What a great motorcycle ride on a beautiful day in Sioux Frickin’ Falls. Am I dreaming???? Don’t pinch me.
Headed to downtown for a sculpture walk. What a great downtown! Lots of free parking, cool shops, and great draft beers. Joe, I think, intentionally takes me places on the bike so I can’t buy a lot.
We head out tomorrow. Only driving 3 hours or so and stopping for one night to make the next jaunt easier.
Lessons & Quirks
- We are only 5 sites from the bathhouse and what a joy is water pressure!
- Our bed is like a cloud. We bought a memory foam mattress topper and it is heaven.
- Even shitty campsites provide amazing memories. Loved you Sioux Falls!
Our family was obviously cursed in the musical genetics pool!
